Join us near Hilton Head to heal and celebrate Imbolc, the mid-winter holiday. Imbolc marks the transition from the cold and dark days of winter to the gradual awakening of spring. Symbolizing the renewal of life, Imbolc represents the stirring of nature's energies, as the earth begins to awaken from its wintry slumber. It is a time when we honor the goddess Brigid, associated with hearth and home, healing, and creativity. Imbolc invites us to kindle our inner flame, bringing light and warmth to our lives, while letting go of what no longer serves us. It encourages introspection, purification, and the planting of seeds of intention for the year ahead. As we embrace this sacred time, we connect with the cyclical nature of existence, finding solace and hope in the knowledge that the light will return, both within ourselves and in the world around us.

Imbolc marks the middle ofwinter, a time of preperation for the new life that will soon blossom in the spring

About Our Weekend Retreats

Our weekend retreats include three ceremonies, one workshop as well as food and accommodations. There are two nighttime ceremonies (friday and saturday night) and one daytime ceremony (Sunday morning) everyone is welcome to stay until monday morning if they would like a bit more integration time. However, if you choose to leave sunday evening we ask that you at least stay until we finish our “family dinner” which is a big meal we make and eat together as a group. This allows you time to be able to drive home and allows us all to connect before the group begins to depart. We also have a workshop Saturday afternoon to discuss the natural cycles of earth and most importantly how and why we should follow them. There is particular emphasis placed on the seasonal mid-point that we are currently observing at our retreat.

Our Staff

We will have 6-7 facilitators in total including Drew & Stormie. They will be available to help both in ceremony as well as throughout the week.

Drew is the Ayahuasquero. He has trained with a family of shipibo elders in Peru and was officially “Donned” by Don Enrique of the Shipibo Tribe in 2018. He has sat in hundreds of ceremonies and has over a decade of experience with the medicine.

You can learn more about our facilitators by visiting our “team” page.

The Team

What’s Included

All food and accommodations are provided. We will have a full-time chef on site to prepare all of our meals. Each Guest will be given a 4 inch foam mattress pillow and blanket for use both during ceremony and to sleep on.

Integration

We focus A LOT on integration, support and community. Every retreat group has a group chat on telegram which begins 3 weeks before the retreat and runs until 2 weeks after. This provides a forum for the group to get to know each other (If each person so chooses) as well as an opportunity for us to answer questions are they arise in a way that allows everyone to learn together.

We also host a pre-retreat zoom call one week before where we go over some last minute details, and answer questions for the group.

Within a few days of the retreat we provide a free group zoom call with a professional integration coach to help give our guests a framework with which to begin to understand their experiences. There is a second call approximately one week after that to further deeper our guests understanding of their own integration.

Integration is a long process and we know one call isn’t enough, so we have weekly calls available which are held by a mental health professional and integration specialist, free of charge every week to anyone who has ever sat in ceremony with us.

Lastly, we have a private facebook group which is exclusively for those who have attended one of our retreats. This group operates as a shared space for what we call “the butterfly family.”

Registration

Each person interested in attending must first fill out a Questionnaire (Linked below.) Your honesty on this form is of the utmost importance in order for us to determine eligibility.

Once your questionnaire has been submitted you will be contacted via the email you use on that form - SO PLEASE BE SURE THE EMAIL YOU GIVE IS CORRECT.
