Cairo

Day 1

Arrive to Cairo International Airport where you will be met by your tour manager who’ll assist you with your entry visa and formalities through customs and immigration. Transfer to Steigenberger Pyramid hotel.

That evening we will all meet in the conference room for our first Ancient Cycles presentation.

GIZA

Day 2

(Breakfast, Lunch)

We start tour with a Private visit to the Sphinx. Our group will have exclusive access to the Sphinx enclosure which is not even accessible by the public. If you go alone or with most tours you will only be able to see the Sphinx from the viewing platform, crowded by hundreds of other tourists. With our Ancient Cycles tour we will go into the enclosure and actually get close enough to touch it and stand between the paws of the Sphinx.

After breakfast we continue visiting the Giza Plateau and the pyramids as we explore some evidence and theories of a lost civilization, cataclysmic cycles, and the purpose of this site in modern times.

Sakkara/Dahshur

Day 3

(Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our day at Sakkara, home of the infamous stepped pyramid. Anyone interested in alternative history will be familiar with several features found here. This is a stunning complex which includes a “tomb” where the book of the dead inscriptions can be found. This is also the site of supposed medical and observational rooms, and the entrance consists of stones which remain cold despite the desert heat and are so highly polished they almost act as a mirror.

Nearby is the the Serapeum of Sakkara, which is said to be the burial place for the Apis bulls. These sarcophagus defy logic and can only be truly appreciated when seen in person.

After we leave Sakkara we will continue to Dahshur, which was closed for many years but finally opened for visitors. Dahshur holds the Black, White and Red Pyramids.

Luxor Temple & Museum

Day 4

(Breakfast)

After breakfast we will head to the airport to fly to Luxor. Once we arrive we will head over to the Luxor museum to discuss interesting finds there. Afterwards we will check into our hotel, where you have some free time to relax or explore the city. In the evening we will visit the Temple of Luxor under the stars. Sohaila will discuss the work of R.A Schwaller de Lubicz, who referred to this location as the “temple of man,” and the symbolist interpretation of the site.

Abydos / Dendara/Osirion

Day 5

(Breakfast, Lunch box, Dinner)

Abydos and Dendara are probably our favorite locations in all of Egypt, and no tour would be complete without them. In the morning, we will drive through the country side of Upper Egypt to get to these remote temples. Abydos and Dendara are the locations of many infamous findings such as, the flower of life in the Osirion Temple, the kings list, the Dendara lightbulb, and so much more. These are the kinds of temples you can spend all day in, and never see everything. The Osirion temple is close to the public but we will get to view what few have seen.

Hot Air Balloon/West Bank/Valley of The Kings

Day 6

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 will be an exciting day as we take time to explore the West Bank of ancient Thebes with a early morning hot air baloon ride. We will visit the Valley of the Kings, where tombs are still being excavated, and have an opportunity to enter some of them. We will visit the tomb of Ramses VI, Tombs of the Nobles, and then head over to the Hatshepsut Temple. On our way back we’ll make a pit stop at the Colossi of Memnon before checking into our private Dahabeya, where we will spend 5 nights sleeping on the Nile River.

Karnak/Nile Cruise

Day 7

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Officially one week into our tour and we have a truly unique experience planned for you. we will pay a visit to the vast and overwhelming Temple of Karnak, with special attention to Sekhmet Chapel. Then we will head back to our dahabeya for breakfast before setting sail down the Nile towards Esna.

Esna/Nile Cruise

Day 8

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

First thing in the morning we will head to the Temple of Esna, dedicated to the ram-headed god Khnum (the god of creation). The Temple of Esna construction started during King Tuthmoses III reign during the 18th Dynasty but the temple completed construction during the Ptolemaic period and the Roman period between 40 to 250 A.D., also known as Temple of Khnum. After our visit to Esna we will continue sailing down the Nile, headed towards Edfu.

Edfu/Nile Cruise

Day 9

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Today we will continue our much needed, relaxing trip down the nile, but not before first paying a visit to Edfu. Edfu temple is known as “Horus temple,” dedicated to the Falcon God and is perhaps the best preserved temple of the ancient world. This is a stunning location to wander and photograph. It’s another one of those places that feels like you can never see it all. Afterwards we set our sights to sail to Kom Ombo, and spend another glorious night on our private boat.

Kom Ombo/Nile Cruise

Day 10

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

First thing in the morning we will visit the stunning healing complex of Kom Ombo. We cannot express how amazing the energy of this site is. There are countless interesting features from the Ptolemaic structure including an ancient calendar. After leaving the site we will continue to sail towards Aswan.

Philae Temple / Unfinished Obelisk / Nubian Island

Day 11

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

In the morning we will take a short coach ride to the lakeshore and transfer to motorboat to sail to Philae Temple, which is located on an island. Philae Temple was consecrated to Isis, Egypt’s divine mother. We’ll take ample time here to experience the healing energy of Isis. Later, we will have a special treat when we visit a private island to meditate. We will have lunch at a Nubian home and enjoy a folklore Nubian show. After our Nubian lunch we will go to the infamous Unfinished Obelisk. At 1168 tons, the completed obelisk would have been the single heaviest piece of stone the Egyptians ever fashioned.

Our group has received permission to visit these forgotten sites and we cannot wait to take you.

Egyptian Museum/Inside Great Pyramid / Farewell Dinner
